You are most likely familiar with Medicare Part A and B, which is health care coverage and hospitalization coverage, sometimes combined with Medicare Part D (prescription coverage). These plans are limited to those 65+ but those eligible may find that Medicare doesn’t quite cover all of their rising medical costs. Along with the benefits, it’s important to remember that with Medicare Advantage plans, typically you’ll be required to only use doctors inside your plans networks, like with traditional plans and you may need to get approval from your plan before it covers certain drugs or services.
